Bill is a 35-pound, two-year-old cattle dog, hound mix from Lewis and Clark Humane Society in Helena. His previous owner gave him up for financial reasons. He might also have a bit of dachshund in the mix because he has a ridiculously cute overbite.
Bill loves to be the center of attention when around people he knows and trusts, but will also settle down for a nap after a good belly rub. He is hesitant around new people, especially men, but less so if they have a dog with them.
Bill is convinced he is a lap dog. He will do everything in his power to get your attention, including, but not limited to, lie on top of you, nudge your hand, and sniff your face. Snuggles, naps and belly rubs occupy most of his time indoors. However, while he loves to relax, he is far from lazy. In fact, he absolutely loves being outside. Walking, smelling, running, marking, and sprinting are his favorite outdoor activities, human or fellow dog companion optional.
